Throw your hands up in the air and wave ’em like you just don’t care because downtown Kingston in the summer is the place to be! But seriously, our city is pretty amazing and always makes an outstanding backdrop for engagement photos. If you’ve been following my work for a while, you know that I often make the mini trek up to Ottawa to shoot weddings. Kaitlyn and Paul are one of those weddings but decided they’d be down for a downtown Kingston engagement session to mix it up a little. Or, maybe it’s because I promised them beer at the end at my favourite watering hole, Stone City Ales? Either way, it was a really fun session and I got to show off #DTK to a lovely couple. And, beer.
We met up at a really cool building that my friend from Just Add Stripes told me about, big up Brooke! We shot against the really lovely red brick, laughed a bunch and then moved on to the next spot, and the next spot, and the next spot after that until we finally arrived at the land of beer-o-clock. And a fine decision that was because, while you can’t tell from the photos, it was hot AF out there and we were all pretty sweaty by the end of our Princess Street promenade! So, come walk with us, enjoy the photos and dream of those hot summer days with a little wind in your hair.
